Breathe Cleaner Air with Genuine Mitsubishi MAC-408FT-E Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filters
Genuine Mitsubishi Electric MAC-408FT-E replacement anti-allergy insert filters. Mitsubishi Electric blue enzyme filters capture allergens like dust, pollen and dust mites which are then decomposed by artificial enzymes. These blue filters aren’t just a physical barrier. They are treated with artificial enzymes that break the chemical bonds in allergen proteins, like those from dust mites and pollen, turning them into harmless, non-allergen proteins. Additionally, the fibres are permanently electrostatically charged, allowing them to attract and trap microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns that standard plastic blue catechin pre-filters miss.
Available in both non-retail packaging in a poly bag, or retail packaging in the branded box. Both in new, unused condition.
Can also be directly substituted for the MAC-2320FT-E, MAC-2370FT-E, MAC-2470FT-E, and MAC-EMF515FT-E filters.

How often should I replace my MAC-408FT-E filter?
For peak performance in Canadian homes, we recommend replacing these every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage and interior conditions. These filters will need replacement once they have lost their blue pigment and have turned off-white.
Can I wash these filters?
No. Unlike your large plastic pre-filters, these enzymatic inserts should never be washed. Water will neutralize the electrostatic charge and wash away the specialized enzymes. Be sure to keep your frames for more cost effective and environmentally friendly replacements such as with our black charcoal carbon filters that do not come with frames.
